Not listed: the hotel confirmed in October 2026 that the automatic entrance lights cannot be switched off or unscrewed, and that a card is needed both for the door lock and to turn the room lights on. There is no way to enter or leave over Shabbat.

As things stand this hotel cannot be used over Shabbat: the room has an entrance light that comes on when the door opens and closes, and the hotel says it cannot be changed — so the room can be neither entered nor left from Friday evening until Saturday night. All other power in the room also needs the key card left in a slot by the door. The rest is helpful: staff will open the room door for you, and besides the automatic main entrance there is a side door that is manual with no electronics. We have asked whether the entrance light can be disconnected or its bulb removed for a guest; if that is possible the hotel becomes usable.

4-star hotel, ~20 min walk from the synagogues and Chabad.
