One of the two Venetian Ghetto synagogues still used for services (Spanish in winter, Levantine in summer); also part of the Jewish Museum of Venice tour.
To access to the synagogue on Shabbat and Yom Tov, ID needs to be sent to the Security.
The Spanish synagogue was built by architect Baldassarre Longhena in the 17th century.
